We had the chance to meet Mr Shu Uemura in Japan and begin a long term collaboration directly with him. After selling his cosmetic company to L’Oréal he dedicated his time and energy in many activities, one being Utoco. His concerns still revolved around human wellbeing. The concept of Utoco was to go and collect spring water deep in the sea and derive different products from it : deep sea mineral water, salt and mineral components as food additives. We developed the packaging range based on this specific meandering curved contour: a simple quiet movement as the Utoco signature.
