Lutec: Long term partnership

NINGBO UTEC ELECTRIC  is a leading company in outdoor lighting. 

This is an example, quite rare in a career. In October 2010, we are invited to a meeting in China, at Ningbo Utec Electric in Yuyao. The subject, simply to introduce ourselves and listen to the company's needs. A first contact. It turns out that we had in our presentation studies of LEDS outdoor lighting. The day following the first meeting, the development manager immediately chose two projects, Ledspot & Cylin. The objective, to be present at the Frankfurt International Trade Fair with these new proposals. Only 4 months to complete the projects, plus the development of the booth.
The presentation was successful and expressed the company’s desire to evolve. Since then we have been working continuously as their major creative partner, supporting the company in its changes, the birth of the LUTEC brand, participating in the company’s product strategy, which has now an international development.

It is one of the first outdoor applications of LEDS, launched in 2010.
Due to its success it has a lot of offspring.
The first development was made for the professional market. Immediately after we made a smaller size always following the starting idea of one or two movable heads. Wall, pole or bollards, and now wall security light with motion sensor, solar version, made a complete range active until now.
It is one of the more successful series of the Lutec brand, wherever the country.

Cylin is a LED modular bollard composed of combinable modules. Each cylindrical segment has an adjustable "head" and pivots on itself. This leads to infinite possibilities for adapting the light to the specific needs of the spaces.

Creation of the stand in Frankfurt Light+Building with, at this time, the UME and Ecolight brands before merging into LUTEC a few years later.
